New Orleans Jesters soccer camps provide young players with the opportunity to receive high-level coaching at an appropriate level based on their current skills from the New Orleans Jesters coaching staff.

Children from all clubs, schools, and youth soccer locations are welcome.  All Jesters camps are designed to provide a fun learning experience that gives youth players a taste of the professional training environment.

Each day includes individual foot skills, technical drills, small-sided games, and coached scrimmages.  Equally important, the Jesters coaching staff provides children with lessons in self-discipline, good sportsmanship, and respect for others and for the game.

Outdoor Weather Policy

We strive to make informed decisions based on weather forecasts and radar readings to benefit everyone attending our camps. Unfortunately, predicting the weather is not a perfect science and we endeavor to make the correct decision based on your child’s safety and well being.

Our weather policy works as follows:

In the event of light showers, all programs will continue as scheduled, providing the playing area is safe. Parents should dress their child appropriately for the weather conditions, as sessions will go ahead regardless of damp weather, provided the coach deems the playing area safe to continue.

During a session: The program will continue in the event of light rain or passing showers. If weather conditions become unplayable and shelter cannot be provided, the program will be cancelled for the remainder of the day and you will be required to collect your child.

We strive to ensure the best decisions are made for each individual program. We rely heavily upon the weather forecasts and radar to make our decisions. However, at times this technology is not truly accurate, in such instances our staff members rely on our on field staff to relay the actual weather conditions once they have arrived on location. We ask that you attend as scheduled, where coaches will make a decision based on current weather and field conditions.

In the event of thunderstorms, the program will be suspended until the storm passes. Lightning storms are unpredictable so a 30 minute rule is enforced. Thirty minutes will be counted from when the last strike of lightning was seen. If the storm passes, play will continue. However, if the storm continues the program may be cancelled and you will be required to collect your child from the program.
